Bay of Fires Pinot Noir-Chardonnay, Tasmania
50:50 Blend using grapes from several regions of Tasmania. The classlic combinaton of Pinot and Chardonnay is of course classic old world but this wine speaks volumes about how the new world wines take an approach and do it great. Bottle Fermented including 3 years maturation in bottle on the ‘lees’, why leave it for 3 days when you can for 3 years! which provides the wine with yeasty-biscuity character often associated with good quality Champagne, very stylish wine and we know you will love it. Villa Maria Private Bin Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, NZ
From the Marlborough region of the South Island, considered New Zealand's premium white wine region due to the cool climate and long hours of sunshine. Classic mown grass, green – capsicum and tropical fruit character. This is the bosses favourite and our only worry about this wine is going in to work to pack orders and find it all gone! This is one of those delicous wines where you can enjoy arguing whether its manderin melon gooseberry or peaches on the nose and in the finish. Available also in half cases at only £61.00
Penfolds Release Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon, S E Australia.
Multi district blend using penfolds extensive vineyard resources. The regional sources and precise make-up of the blend vary year- to- year, reduce the impact of vintage variation which is pretty much what we have come to expect from branded Aussie wines, but lets not mistake formula for sucess with chemistry. 70% shiraz results in Spicy, sweet blackberry flavour with background of cherry and oak from the 3 months oak maturation, this wine is so characteristic of a great Aussie red that you can almost hear Waltzing Matilda amongst the cheeky glugging as it escapes the bottle. Brown Brothers Late Harvest Orange Muscat and Flora, Victoria
Unique dessert wine from the Mystic Park vineyard, Made from 80% of the unusual Orange Muscat and 20% Flora, a crossing of Gewurztraminer and Semillon. The result is a lively yet elegant wine with great flavour highlighting aspects of both German and Claifornian influences. This wine drinks well with aromaticly seasoned fish such as sea bass with fennel or chicken with lemon or tarragon.Available also in half cases at only £50.70
